The Diabetes Medicine Bag (DMB) is a not-for-profit educational program designed to help prevent type 2 diabetes among Aboriginal children and youth.

The DMB and the DMB 2 are original resource kits filled with interactive, creative and culturally sensitive resource tools to teach healthy eating and an active lifestyle to children ages 12 and under . The exact cause of type 2 diabetes is not known, but it is known that the risk of developing it may be reduced by staying active and, achieving and maintaining a healthy body weight.
